Komplementwinkel

Wird ein rechter Winkel in zwei Teilwinkel geteilt, so heißen die entstehenden Winkel Komplementwinkel.
\alpha + \beta = 90^\circ
Die Komplementwinkel sind im Bereich der Winkelbeziehungen wichtig.
\sin x = \cos (90^\circ - x)
\cos x = \sin (90^\circ - x)
\tan x = \cot (90^\circ - x)
\cot x = \tan (90^\circ - x)
